Digital purchases are a $1.5T market. A meaningful share of that will be driven by AI agents. We're building the payments infrastructure for that shift.
Right now there's no good way for an AI to make a purchase. People paste card numbers into chat, create virtual cards with arbitrary limits, or just stop and do it themselves. We're building the right layer: set a limit, lock it to a merchant, your AI handles the rest.
The app is live and people are using it. This is a new primitive for how software transacts. You'd be joining as the first engineer on the team — helping define how we build from here.
You'll work directly with me. No layers.
You've shipped things and can show them. You have a bias to action and care about the customer experience, not just the code. You're familiar with AI tools and excited about where they're going. You're comfortable when things are unclear because they usually are at this stage.
Payments or fintech experience is a plus, not required.
We'll start part-time or contract to make sure it's a good fit.
If it clicks, this could grow into a founding engineer role after fundraising.
