Digital purchases are a $1.5T market. A meaningful share of that will be driven by AI agents. We're building the payments infrastructure for that shift.
Right now there's no good way for an AI to make a purchase. People paste card numbers into chat, create virtual cards with arbitrary limits, or just stop and do it themselves. We're building the right layer: set a limit, lock it to a merchant, your AI handles the rest.
The app is live and people are using it. This is a new primitive for how software transacts. You'd be joining as the first engineer on the team — helping define how we build from here.
You'll work directly with me. No layers.
You're a technically strong, customer-driven AI engineer who has shipped products people use and can show them. You have strong product judgment, a bias to action, and care as much about the customer experience as the code behind it.
You have experience building AI products in production — ideally agent workflows, conversational experiences, or evaluation and reliability systems — and are excited to make them trustworthy enough for customers to use with real money.
You're comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving quickly in an early-stage environment.
Payments or fintech experience is a plus, not required.
