Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Allowance at useallowance.com and related Allowance products and features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Allowance provides tools for user-approved spending controls, temporary payment credentials, account and activity notifications, authorized agent-connected access, and reservation tracking or similar account activity features. Some features may be available only in certain versions of the product or after account setup.
Accounts and account information
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials and devices secure, and promptly review activity on your account. You are responsible for actions taken using your account, approved devices, connection methods, and other access credentials unless the law says otherwise.
Agents, instructions, and authorized access
You are responsible for the agents, merchants, source URLs, instructions, payment requests, permissions, and access methods you authorize through Allowance. Before approving a request or enabling an agent or connection, you should review the scope, amount, merchant or source, and any expiration or other controls that apply.
Payment controls and reservation tracking
Allowance is designed to apply the limits, restrictions, and other settings you choose, but you remain responsible for reviewing approvals and account activity. Temporary payment credentials, wallet setup, transaction flows, tracker checks, and notifications may fail, be delayed, or become unavailable for technical or operational reasons.
Transactional messages
If you provide contact information or register a device, you agree to receive transactional email, SMS, and push notifications related to sign-in, verification, account security, allowance activity, tracker activity, and other service operations. These communications are not marketing.

Third-party services
Allowance depends on outside service providers for parts of the product, including payments, wallet setup, communications, authentication, hosting, and reservation-tracking-related operations. Those services may change, be interrupted, impose their own limits, or become unavailable outside our control.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the service if we believe an account or activity creates legal, security, fraud, abuse, or operational risk, or if you violate these Terms.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every request, payment attempt, notification, or tracker event will succeed, or that the service will be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Allowance will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date on this page and provide additional notice through the service when appropriate.
