Everything you need to know about giving your AI agent a wallet it can't misuse.
You add your real card once in the Allowance app. It is stored securely with bank-level encryption, and your agent never sees the card number you entered.
When you approve a purchase, Allowance creates a one-time virtual card for that checkout. Your agent uses that virtual card number at the merchant, not your real card number.
The virtual card has its own spend limit, merchant lock, and expiry, so it can only be used for the purchase you approved. After it is charged, it is retired.
The easiest way to connect an agent is to open the Allowance install page and paste the setup instructions into your agent.
The setup flow installs the Allowance CLI, signs you in once, and configures your agent for future purchases.
Your agent needs browser control to complete checkout after Allowance issues a one-time card.
